Part-2. Border Posts

Border Posts and corruption when traveling overland.

Crossing border posts and handling officialdom when travelling through developing countries can often be the most intimidating part of global vehicular travel. Here, Andrew and Paul share they knowhow and understanding of how to smooth the way, and get the official working with you, and not against you. The tricks are simple and easy to remember – and all, highly effective. For example, the simple removing of sunglasses can turn a two hour exchange into a ten-minute one. Andrew and Paul’s combined 60 years overland experience is shared here.

Overland Workshop 2013 is a series of discussions shot in the Kalahari between author Andrew St.Pierre White and expedition leader, and vehicle prep expert, Paul Marsh. Between the two of them, they have a combined 60 years of expedition travel experience.
